I feel like I just experienced the highest quality bakso I’ve ever had in my life. The texture of the meatballs was incredibly tender yet bouncy, and the flavor was rich without being overpowering. The broth was clear, savory, and comforting — perfectly balanced. Every bite felt like it was made with care and high-quality ingredients. This isn’t your average street-side bakso; it truly felt premium. If you’re a bakso lover, this is the kind of experience that sets a new standard.

They serve some cuisine made of beef and chicken. Their best menu is meatball. You can add either flat noodle, rice noodle, or rice to your meatballs. Besides, various types of beverages and desserts are also served here. The restaurant is situated in a strategic location among some other restaurants around Dr. Soetomo St. It is not always crowded here, so it's the best choice for family reunion dinner. Apart from all service given, the taste is not really savoury. To my tongue, it tastes plain. Probably adding some chilli or tomato sauce to the dish ordered will make it taste better.

If you are a fan of clear meatball soup and crunchy meatball, you come to the right place. Baso A Fung is known for their flat meatball although they also offer the usual round-shaped one. Add squeezed lime to the broth and you will get fresh and garlicy broth. Light and warm. Noodle, rice noodle (bee-hoon) and kwetiau is add-on (11 K per portion). This is my first time at this particular stall. The service is quick. The price can be a tad expensive, but for their quality you get what you pay for.
