This is a recommended eatery if you are visiting Surabaya. This legendary place is located at the corner of south Gubeng train station. They offer some local cuisines. First impression, service from all staff is excellent. No complaint at all. Parking space is quite limited.
View on GoogleWe’re not from Indonesia and had just arrived around dinner time, so we asked a local for the nearest place to eat from our hotel. It turned out to be a hidden gem. The sambal was incredibly delicious—I liked it so much that I ordered another plate right away. The portions are a bit small, but considering the price, it’s definitely worth it.
View on GoogleThe location is really around the corner from the back door of Gubeng Station. Parking is a bit difficult during meal times. The food provided is quite varied. The menus we tried were soto daging, soto ayam (both of it added with koya), mixed rice, krengsengan, ayam kare, and nasi ayam penyet. Everything we ordered had a taste that suited our taste buds. Apart from this menu, there are other menus such as rawon, fried rice, fried noodles, pecel rice and who knows what else.
View on GoogleI ordered 1 Nasi goreng take away. They gave me 1 pack within 30-40 seconds like it was already packed. Nasi goreng was the worst I ever had, not even worth to try. Better to have from some small stall, at least they’ll prepare fresh on order.
View on GoogleI am a world traveller that stopped by due to the convenient location to me and I was very pleased with the food and service! The waitress was friendly and helpful in picking out two meals for me because I was super hungry. I had both cap cay and rawon and both were very good but the. Cap cay was incredible and had a Lot of flavor. The food was cheap, came out very quickly, and I ate very bite.
