Impressive and will never think that this port is so prepared to welcome people as it is now, apparently it has recently been built, as ships use to dock, but now they can receive 2 ships at the same time. One thing, just follow the instructions that had been given to you when coming to this port, as you have to fill up the QR code to have it either in your phone, or printed, as lines can get long and if you have previous arrangements, you can be delayed due to that. As well, be aware that traffic is horrible and you can take more than expected due to the rush hours.
View on GoogleThis is a popular place where many locals come to watch the sunset. The overall experience was quite good, and the sunset over the sea is definitely worth seeing. The ticket includes a food and beverage voucher, but personally, I did not feel that the voucher offered very good value. Overall, it is still a nice place to visit for the sunset.
View on GoogleArrived around 5 PM to see the sunset, but it wasn’t visible. Only got to see the Sirena cruise ship. Entry costs IDR 10.000. Free and paid viewing decks are available to see the docking cruise ship. 🎟️ Free viewing deck: Very strong wind. Limited seating. Quite cowded. 🎟️ Paid viewing deck: Less crowded. Could peacefully sit while enjoying the view. Closer view to the ship. The ticket costs IDR 50.000 but can be used as a voucher to buy food and drinks at IDR 40.000 value. However, the food court system is very chaotic. Long waiting time, not very clean, not very delicious either. Came out of the building around 7.30 PM. Waiting for online taxi coming to pick us up, the surrounding area felt unsafe.
View on GoogleWe accompanied our children to see the ferry docking assisted by a tugboat. With an entrance fee of 10,000 rupiah per person, we could enjoy the seaside and relax in the afternoon among various food and beverage vendors. It was truly a fun and unforgettable experience for my children.
View on GoogleThe place is nice. A good view into the dock and anchorage area. You can see a lot of ships. And if you're lucky, you'd find a cruise ship docking on the side of the building. The minus is, toilets are too far from the North Quay area. You need to go one stair down. But other than that, pretty good.
