recently tried Soto Tapak Siring and it was such a comforting and satisfying meal. The broth was rich, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned—not too salty, but full of depth. The meat was tender and generous in portion, making every spoonful enjoyable. The combination of fresh herbs, crunchy toppings, and warm soup created a balanced and authentic taste. The place itself was clean and cozy, making it a nice spot to enjoy a hearty bowl of soto. The service was also quite fast, even during busy hours. Overall, Soto Tapak Siring is a great choice if you’re craving traditional Indonesian soup with bold flavors and good value for money. I would definitely come back again!

Soto Tapak Siring is a small local spot with a calm and traditional vibe. It definitely feels like an authentic, down-to-earth Indonesian place, which is nice if you’re into local food experiences. The place itself is quiet but could use a bit more attention when it comes to cleanliness. I tried their soto daging (beef soto) — the flavor was actually quite good, rich broth and tender meat, definitely leaning towards the “very good” side. However, the rice was served cold and the portion was really small, which was a bit disappointing. The soto itself costs IDR 33K, and the extra rice is another 6K. Is it worth the price? Maybe. Is it delicious? Kind of — but I’ve definitely had better soto elsewhere around the city. Overall, not bad for a quick local meal, but there’s room for improvement.

One of legendary Soto Daging in town. If you did not have any problem with cholesterol, this is the place you can taste the heavenly soto with cows innards, from intestines to liver. It’s like a bowl of Cholesterol Galore but it’s so delicious and taste great!

One of the culinary legends in Surabaya. The broth really tastes great and here you can just choose a portion. For example just meat beef or offal or mix or beef tripe and so on. In one bowl there are 6-8 meat fillings making it not stingy. Rice is available wrapped in leaves to make it smell good. The condiment available is an alley duck egg, you can add it. for the place, it looks not luxorius and quite simple but if you forget about place and want to try one of the best in town, you have to try this soto!
