Found this place on Google map and came here for the good reviews. First time trying javanese food, and it is delicious and the prices here are very affordable. No credit card payment though, only QR code and cash. Went up to 2nd floor for more seatings

The fried food food here is delicious and juicy. Most importantly, the sambal is good. You can choose the level of spiciness. It ranges from non-spicy to extreme spicy. It is a popular eatery for the locals. To pair with the spicy sambal, I would recommend ordering the es cao drink. Overall, worth coming back.

This restaurant located around Surabaya City Center area. The price is moderate, food taste is delicious. The staff was very friendly. I ordered some foods for take away.

Definitely one of the best Bu Kris branches other than their Villa Bukit Mas branch. Sambal is good, spicy, and they actually gave you a lot. Ordered their Bakwan Penyet per usual. Tastes good. If you come here pls do order then Tahu Telur Bumbu Kacang. Only available at this branch. Es Cao Susu is also a must. As for the penyetan, just order any protein you like. The sambal is what's important ✌🏻 if there's anything to complain on, sayur asem is a bit bland during our day of visit. Expected it to taste more balanced. We dine on the 2nd floor and I do think it's more comfy compared to sitting downstairs.

The classic ayam penyet style in Surabaya city. They also have variety of Eastern java style food such as : Rujak cingur, rawon, nasi mawut etc. But at this place you just have to try their "ayam penyet" (fried chicken with indonesian style sambal).
