Our driver for our Bromo-Ijen tour brought us here for lunch. The prices are rather exorbitant by local Indonesian standards, but the food is pitiably not up to par to the typical level local delights. As an example, the price of a bowl of rice here is surprisingly more expensive than a typical bowl of rice in Singapore. Of the dishes we ordered, only the udang bakar (grilled prawn) was delicious, but even then, there were only 6 prawns, which was laughable for the price of the dish. The sauce on the fried fish was insipid, tasting nothing like the sweet and sour flavours promised. Given the high number of Caucasian tourists sighted, I suspect that this restaurant pays tour drivers kickbacks to bring unwitting tourists to eat at this overly expensive but unsatisfying restaurant. If you are a tourist visiting the area on a tour, try to get your driver to avoid this place at all costs!

Really good seafood and nice view ib front of the beach. This place is a bit too touristic but if you pass by you can go for a nice fried seafood.

Our tour guide and driver dropped us off here and said he thought it was cheap. In reality, it is like any other touristy place. We ordered two Mie Coreng with chicken and the dish was watery and the smell put us both off and the texture of the chicken was like rubber and tasteless. The staff seemed very friendly and smiling but I would not recommend anyone to go there for the noodles.

The udang bakar (grilled prawns) were good, but very overpriced at IDR80k for 6 prawns. The fish in sweet and sour sauce was in some weird gelatinous sauce that was neither sweet nor sour. The juices (e.g. mango, melon) were pretty good though, but not cheap by Indonesian standards.

Probably the worst meal I had in all of Indonesia. Pretty bad fried noodles, and the most tasteless mushroom/chicken soup. And for 3x the price you find elsewhere. Avoid.
