Tumpak Sewu is one of the most breathtaking waterfalls I have ever visited. The adventure to reach the base is exciting and unforgettable, with river crossings, bamboo bridges, and stunning jungle scenery along the way. Exploring the cave and walking through the cool, fresh water made the experience even more magical. The air is incredibly fresh, and the sound of the waterfall creates a peaceful atmosphere despite the thrilling hike. Every step is worth the effort, and the views are absolutely spectacular. If you love nature, adventure, and photography, Tumpak Sewu is a must-visit destination. I would highly recommend this incredible place to anyone looking for an unforgettable outdoor experience.

I visited Goa Tetes while accompanying two travelers from Europe, and it was a very memorable experience. The atmosphere here feels natural, adventurous, and unique. The combination of small waterfalls, wet rocks, cave area, and green surroundings makes the place very interesting to explore. My guests really enjoyed the visit because it felt different from a normal waterfall viewpoint. The path can be wet and slippery, so visitors should wear proper shoes, walk carefully, and be prepared to get a little wet. It is a beautiful place for travelers who enjoy nature, adventure, and hidden spots in East Java.

So beautiful!! Not totally easy to walk up and down and around this area. 50K for foreigner ticket on weekday.

We stayed at the nearby happy monkey accommodation and did the caves in 1.5-2hours at 09:00 when we woke up the next day. The waterfall is great. Better than going up Ijen in my opinion. The waterfall and caves key info: - Total cost = 150,000 RP per person. (100k waterfall + 50k caves 13 July 2025) - You do not need a guide. - You will get very wet. Do not wear trainers; wear flip flops. - recommend to start at waterfall entrance, so waterfall, do caves, and finish at the exit next to happy monkeys. I would recommend 1 night stay to do the waterfall and caves.

This is honestly top 5 most incredible places I've ever visited, it was way cooler then Tumpak Sewu. The cave systems and unbelievable amount of waterfalls make this place second to none. Come to this area for Goa Tetes, so worth it. I stayed at Monkey villages homestay directly above Goa Tetes - price is 50k for entrance from the top of Goa Tetes or 25k if you come from the Tumpak direction.
