I had a really nice experience thanks to Safira. My Indonesian isn’t very good, but she explained the menu in simple, clear English that was easy to understand. She also recommended a few dishes based on what I was looking for, and they all turned out to be great choices. i was especially impressed by how well she knew the menu. I even asked if she’d tried everything because she described each dish so confidently. She smiled and said, “No, I learned them.” That says a lot about the effort she puts into her job. Friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. Thanks, Safira, for making my visit even better. I’ll definitely be coming back!

The service at Sushi Tei Araya Malang was impressive, especially considering how busy it was. While there’s still a tiny bit of room for improvement to reach 'excellence,' the experience was overall very positive. As for the food, it’s the classic Sushi Tei standard—always delicious and consistent. ​I was particularly impressed by the staff's proactiveness; they noticed I was a bit anxious about a pending dish and checked on it before I even had to ask. Aside from their sushi, my absolute favorite is the Beef Mentai with Butter Rice—it’s the winner!

As any other Sushi Tei branches, it’s good place to spend. Price range could lead to pricey side, however service was amazing and all staff have very good knowledge of the products and surrounding as well. Located at the entrance of Araya, it’s suitable if you want to have meeting, birthday or even just family dinner. Sushi was fresh and I could say it was worth the price with the quality and service as well

Overall, the taste is typical of Sushi Tei. However, I recommend reserving the VIP room for groups of 5 to 6 people, as the spending amount often reaches around 1.5 million rupiah. The restaurant can get a bit crowded as it's a new and cozy place in the area. The waiters could be more friendly. The toilet is clean but could benefit from the addition of an air freshener.

All the foods are so good, great service, decors and atmosphere 🥰 But you have to make a reservation for group if you don't want to wait for a long time, because it's always fullhouse in a mealtime!
