Loved the good oldies ornaments used as room decor—gives such a charming and nostalgic feel! The food is so authentically Indonesian, and the overall vibe is very retro Java. It’s like stepping back in time in the best way. A lovely spot to enjoy local flavors with a warm, vintage atmosphere. 🇮🇩✨

Good Indonesian restaurant, great place to try rawon (Javanese specialty). We had rawon, a plate of vegetables and rice. The food was good, decent size. The restaurant is clean, comfortable and very well decorated with many antiquities.

Super tasty food and really nice place and atmosphere. However as the restaurant was totally empty, we felt really lonely. The waiters were patiently waiting that we made our choices as there is no translation whatsoever and they could not speak any english - which is totally fine. But after that, we both had to go to the reception desk to ask for cuttlery and then to pay the check.

A nice Javanese food experience. No crowd during dinner time, almost empty. Nice and relaxing ambience. Lovely antics as part of restaurant deco. Fermented Soya Bean was like wow. I don't eat tempe, but this one is different. I actually ate it. Sate was delicious. Different experience eating satay in Malang. Nasi goreng is power! An experience not forgotten.

This restaurant offers a fairly complete Javanese food menu. Javanese cuisine is usually sweet, but the food here is still delicious. Visitors can enjoy the food and drinks, as well as see various ancient objects and historical stories of Malang during the Dutch colonial era.
