A place for learning about the history of Malang City that never loses its relevance. Its main aim is to bring the spirit of the independence struggle closer to the Arek Malang generation.

I actually had trouble following google map and got lost for a bit. But I gave it 5 stars because I really like the purpose behind this museum. It reminds us of our heroes' struggles, especially in Malang City. Built specifically by the Malang City Government for the Historical Thematic Village. I'm also proud that lots of young people have joined this community without being forced.

A museum located in the middle of a residential neighborhood and part of a historical thematic village Most of the collections inside the museum are made from used materials (weapons)

A destination that really deserves to be introduced to the public to strengthen love for the homeland and the national fighting spirit for a better future for Indonesia. One really great event is the screening of an indie documentary made independently by Komunitas Reenactor Malang, huge respect to you, sam..

If you wanna know more about the struggles of "kera ngalam" from the independence era through Dutch military aggressions I-II, you can visit this museum. It holds many historical objects, both those left by the freedom fighters and those left by the colonial powers (Japan and the Netherlands). This museum preserves memories and objects that silently witnessed the war fought by the young people of Malang. Since Sumbersari was the fighters' defense base at the time, the museum was established in Sumbersari village
