Stopped by for brunch today and the food was surprisingly delicious! I ordered the Hainan Chicken Rice, but was so hungry I forgot to snap a photo 😅. The location is right in the Kayutangan area, so it's very easy to find. The kopitiam concept is spot-on with its vintage Chinese ornaments and vibes. Definitely a must-visit! Note: The staff are very friendly and welcoming!!
View on GoogleWe enjoy the night view of Kayutangan Heritage n stop by to have a taste of this place's food. I am a bit overwhelmed by one of the phrases clip on the wall of the second floor... Updating...the Hainan Rice is delicious. The portion suits me so well n the taste is not too much... Perfect for my taste!🤤
View on GoogleBeen here too many times. Nasi lemak ayam laos 8/10. Mie laksa 11/10. The best laksa in town! Cayen ayam 9/10. Crunchy side dish. Kaya butter toast is a bit too sweet for my taste tho it’s delicious. Iced Teh tarik is not too creamy. The hot ones is much better in taste. Recommended kopitiam restaurant.
View on GoogleWhat I love the most about Kho Kopitiam is their atmosphere. Thanks to their decoration, you would feel that you are in a coffee shop in SG or Malaysia. Suitable for pictures. There are plenty of seats (most of them on the first floor) so you can have a chat during or after meal. Their service is quick and the servers are polite. There are plenty of electric plugs which make me wonder how it feels like to work there :D. Price of food is pretty reasonable.
View on GoogleI often pass by this place whenever I visit Kayu Tangan, and it’s always crowded with people, which made me really curious. I wondered if the food was truly that good to keep attracting so many customers consistently. The restaurant itself has a nice ambiance, featuring a vintage interior that gives off a Chinese restaurant vibe. When I finally got the chance to visit in the morning, I decided to try their main dishes: laksa and nasi lemak. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to my expectations. The laksa itself wasn’t bad, but the shrimp topping had a very strong fishy smell, which made it unpleasant to eat. I suspect that the shrimp wasn’t fresh. From my impression, this place might be more suitable for those who just want to hang out, have coffee, or enjoy light snacks, rather than for a proper meal. I think they really need to improve the freshness of their ingredients, especially for their main dishes, to match the popularity of the restaurant
