The coffee shop name was unique to attract someone to come including me. I guess it's a family owned business for coffee shop as well as travel guide as there is no waiters. The Bitterballen was ok (not sure any meat or not maybe vegetarian one). The Wine coffee has an alcohol first taste on the beginning but then after a few sip is only left with bitter taste since this is Robusta beans. I tried the ice one. The place preserve old dutch house which is quite nice and my table is sewing machine table.
View on GoogleHuize John is a convenient choice for travelers. The location is strategic and easy to reach, making it a good base for getting around. It functions as both a café and backpacker hostel. The food and coffee are simple, but adequate. Tours are organized by John Alif, a senior guide and tour leader who speaks fluent Dutch, which is helpful for Dutch-speaking guests. Overall, a practical option for budget travelers who prioritize location and guided tours.
View on GoogleMost underrated coffee shop you need to visit at least once when you’re in Malang. The owner—Pak Jon and his son, Afghar—are very friendly and have great knowledge about coffee. I initially wanted to order Slagroom coffee, but unfortunately it was sold out, so I tried their Wine Coffee—and kid you not, it was so good. +++ you’ll love the ambiance of this place because the lot of vintage stuffs
View on GoogleSuch friendly staff!! I wanted a lighter breakfast and they helped me achieve that!! The wine coffee is sooo good!!! The environment is peaceful.
View on GoogleCute vintage-y cafe at the heart of the city. The cafe itself is small but it has a lot of vintage stuffs, books and decorations. We tried their bitterballen and it was good, i kinda wish they also served with the mustard sauce to complete the dish but overall it was okay. The iced chocolate is tasty. The service is good and the cashier is kind and friendly. The only downside is probably only cash only, they definitely should give non-cash options as in qris
