For me i think the baso halus is just ok. But the baso kasar is better and more savory. The only plus side is they have the intestine. The fried baso is also pretty good
View on GoogleAffordable pork meatball. Great taste and price, although might have a strong aroma for some people. Great service tho!
View on GoogleI recently sampled Bakwan Subur, a renowned non-halal eatery in Malang, Indonesia, known for its iconic pork-based meatball soup. The flavors were exceptional, and the prices were equally appealing. With a legendary reputation in the city, Bakwan Subur has stood the test of time. The portion size depends on your meatball order, and they offer a variety of condiments including Siew-May, pork meatballs, pork belly skin, lungs, and more. It's a must-visit spot in Malang for anyone looking to savor authentic local flavors.
View on GoogleDelicious and enjoyable. At the time I eat (July 2026), each piece is priced at IDR 3k, so counting the total price os very easy.
View on GoogleA place that has been around for a long time, with flavors that are still well maintained. For me, the real star is the offal, especially the fried lung — really tasty and aromatic. The combination of price and flavor makes Bakwan Subur worth trying. If you’re visiting Malang, it’s also a good option to take home. The broth is generous, the fried lung and kikian are good, and the bakwan itself is satisfying.
