The concept alone makes this place worth trying — walk up, pick whatever you want from the display, and pay after. No menu, no ordering process, just point and take. For a first-timer it's a bit chaotic but in a fun way. The variety is the highlight. In one bowl you can have bakso jumbo, bakso kotak, siomay, tahu goreng, pangsit, and more. The bakso jumbo is the must-try — thick, meaty, and satisfying. The bakso kotak is worth picking up just for the novelty, and it actually delivers on texture too. Taste-wise it's solid, not life-changing, but honest and consistent. The broth is clean and light. One tip from experience: go easy on the spring onions. They're free-flow and easy to overload, but too much and it starts to overpower everything else in the bowl. For the price and the experience, Bakso Kota Cak Man is a good stop — especially if you enjoy building your own bowl and eating at your own pace.

This was the second recommendation from a local driver after the first option had closed, and it turned out to be a pleasant surprise. The food was quite good and very affordable, making it a great value. The atmosphere was lively, with plenty of local street food stalls lining the front street, offering a variety of choices and an authentic culinary experience. It’s an excellent spot for those seeking a casual yet flavorful local meal without stretching the budget.

Wow, best variation of meatballs available here. But be very careful with square-shaped meatball (or meatbox) it was very very spicy hot, staff said that is a chili rawit meatball, it burns a lot in my mouth for minutes until recover

My favourite meat ball in malang. This place is very crowded when weekend especially lunch and dinner time. Make sure you get the fried side dish. It is very delicious and square meat balls 😋
