A classic hole-in-the-wall, this bakso parlor is cozy but often crowded. The self-service setup allows you to pick your own bakso, though this can cause the line to stall when fellow diners take their time. That said, the bakso is delicious enough to justify the wait. Note that they only serve chilled drinks (no hot options), and they do accept credit cards.

I had eaten this bakso before in another branch and really liked it. Glad to finally eat this bakso in its original store. It's a really small place but always crowded every day. I would argue that this is one of the best Bakso Malang i ever tasted so far. The price is also affordable, especially if you compared to some other famous bakso malang. Expect some difficulty in finding a parking spot, as this place is located in a busy street.

In the midst of my culinary adventure in Malang, which revolved around the famed Malang meatballs, I made a delightful stop at Bakso Cak Toha. This restaurant specializes in beef meatballs, offering a savory meatball soup enriched with a diverse selection, such as beef tendon, beef wonton, classic beef, and more. Each bowl of these mouthwatering meatballs is reasonably priced at around 25k - 35k rupiah. For an authentic taste of Malang's Bakwan, Bakso Cak Toha is an absolute culinary gem worth experiencing.

Bakso Cak Toha is hands down one of the most authentic bakso spots in Malang. The meatballs are flavorful, juicy, and perfectly complemented by their rich, savory broth. Whether you go for the classic bakso halus, the one with telur puyuh, or the spicy variant—everything is consistently delicious. It’s a humble, no-frills place, but that’s part of the charm. Locals flock here, which says a lot about the taste and quality. Pro tip: come early—they often sell out by around 6:30 PM, a clear sign of how loved this place is! If you’re looking for a true taste of Malang’s culinary culture, Bakso Cak Toha is a must-visit. Simple, satisfying, and full of flavor.

Tasty bakso and broth. Solid bakso Malang. The location was pretty busy and fairly limited seating but service was quick and friendly.
