Found this place on Google maps, though it sounded interesting. I went to the cafe first for a coffee (which was very good), and pasta carbonara. I know you could take a tour of the plantation but when I asked I was told I needed to book as a minimum of 3 people. There was 3 people already on the bus. Given how quiet it was I would have thought they would be glad of some business.
View on GoogleA very interesting unusual place for sight-seeing yet I found it highly educating and worth visiting. A cocoa and coffee plantation and processing site established in 1911 during the Dutch colonial era. Now an international cocoa and coffee research institute that sells a wide variety of coffee and chocolate products on site.
View on GoogleIts great for hide away. I took myself to a weekend day self reflection hide away to feel safe, relaxing, and easy. We may just sit by the garden or eating some food with great taste and affordable price. It's just perfect atmosphere to spend some time with friends or families.
View on GoogleA good place for seight seing with family. Greenery of coffee and cocoa plantations of whole 160 ha. Going around with wooden car a Fkinstone age like. At normal condition they offer horse ride and AFR motor tour. A mini flying fox from the hill via deers cage. Enjoy coffees, chocolate products, also ice cream. A nice and clean masjid available at the entrance just beside the cafe.
View on GoogleHidden tourism object in Jember. Worth visiting this place. You can enjoy a cup of great coffee or chocolate in the cafe. With 10k IDR you can take a mini train to explore coffee and cocoa field, and understand how coffee and chocolate is made
