Food is great! Taste wise very comforting. Portion is not so big but it’s enough. Sambal is very delightful. The ambience is more like classic type restaurant. Located in the center area of the city. Parking area is a little bit tricky during the lunch time.

This place would remain on top of my list in Jember. Famous for its Nasi langgi but i fell in love with the simple lontong soto ayam. Taste simple but addictive. This is my first time sipping dry a whole bowl of (non homecooking) soup. Anti-MSG club. Am curious of gula aren used in wedang jahe, taste like caramel but its not. (Order wedang jahe with separated palm sugar). Note: Boiled egg in nasi langgi is actually salted egg

The restaurant is very strategically located in the heart of Jember, within walking distance from Java Lotus Hotel. It offers a good variety of delicious dishes at reasonable prices; not too cheap, but definitely not overpriced. The flavors are rich and satisfying. The restaurant has a charming vintage, old-school atmosphere. Definitely recommended!

Rujak was nice. Ice pudding sweetness level was a bit too much in my opinion, so if you don’t really like sweet taste better to ask for less syrup. But it was good!

Depot Jawa Timur is food resto with the special food from Jawa Timur, Nasi Rawon is very nice. Old style resto, clean and good hospitality. You must try.
