When visiting Banyuwangi, I tried to eat at Srengenge Wetan and was very satisfied. The atmosphere of the restaurant is warm with a comfortable traditional feel. The menu that is served really presents the typical taste of Banyuwangi with an attractive presentation. I tried fried rice with satay, mini martabak, fresh iced tea, and dessert complete with fruit, selasih seeds, and ice cream. Everything tastes good, the portion is just right, and the appearance is appetizing. Mini Martabak is crispy on the outside and savory, suitable to be eaten with matah sauce. The service is friendly and fast, the place is clean, and suitable for eating with family and friends. If you are looking for Banyuwangi’s culinary specialties with a comfortable atmosphere in the city center, Srengenge Wetan is worth an option. Will definitely come back again when visiting Banyuwangi.

This place is a gem and a must go to in Banyuwangi! They serve authentic East Javanese dishes with outstanding quality and taste. Every plate is beautifully presented, and the service is truly excellent. They have a special section for Vegetarian options, we loved all we tried.

Me and my wife ordered Rujak Soto, Ayam Lodoh, Mix Jenang, Limun Salak, Iced Seruni and Kacang Ijo Gendhis Jawa. Taste super good. As for me, the portion of the lontong was too small for a big eater like me 😁 so I ordered another two. Mix Jenang taste good as well, they cooked it very well. Try Limun Salak, taste funny.

Awesome experience savouring traditional Banyuwangi (Osing) food at Srengenge Wetan. Must try their traditional dishes like Nasi Kesrut, Pecel Pitek, Sercuni and Jajanan Pasar. The staff is extremely helpful and quick to revert to the customer queries. If you are in Banyuwangi, look no further and visit this awesome place.

Great food! One of the best meals in Indonesia we had. Tried 4-5 dishes and they all turned out very good. Their desserts were the best!!!!! YUM! Its a must try when you arrive before trekking the Ijien crater.
