I spent at Osing Bamboo Resort for several nights and went to this coffee every night. Not only because it was near my staying, but also they've got delicious meals and drinks at a reasonable price. We ordered differently each time we visited this place, and it never failed us. The ambiance was so Japanese and relaxing including the toilet. The place was small, but giving an intimate conversation for the customer. There were no spacious parking lots for cars so we needed to park at the sidewalk. Also the staff were very hospitable. We would like to go here again when we visit Banyuwangi again one day.
View on GoogleIf you're in Banyuwangi, you have to check this place out. It has a beautiful Japanese vibe that makes it feel worlds away from the busy streets. • The Vibe: Minimalist, calm, and very aesthetic. It’s the perfect spot for a quiet coffee stop or to just chill and read a book. • The Menu: Great coffee paired with fresh pastries from their bakery. Easily one of the most relaxing spots in town. Definitely worth a visit if you need a peaceful break.
View on GoogleI visited when all the main courses were sold out last night, so I only ordered desserts and drinks. The taste was okay, and the ambience had a nice Japanese vibe. Unfortunately, the service was a complete letdown. On my first visit, I was greeted warmly by a friendly female staff member wearing hijab and glasses. However, on my second visit, the experience was the exact opposite. The female staff member who served me had her back turned when I arrived and didn’t acknowledge me at all. Even after turning around, there was no greeting, no smile—just silence while staring at me, waiting for me to order. It felt unwelcoming and frankly uncomfortable. While taking my order, she spoke in a very curt and unfriendly tone, showing no effort to engage—only repeating what I said, with zero basic courtesy. It made the whole interaction feel unpleasant and frustrating. I also noticed she treated other guests who arrived after me in the same manner, which made it clear that this wasn’t a one-time issue. She then passed me to another staff member (male), who was noticeably more polite and helpful. The contrast in service was very clear. When I left, only the friendly staff said thank you, while she remained completely silent. As someone who works in hospitality, I find this kind of attitude unacceptable. Having a bad day is understandable, but it should never affect basic service standards. A simple greeting and a polite attitude are the bare minimum in this industry. I hope this can be taken as constructive feedback to improve the service as I’d love to come back and try the main courses tho.
View on GoogleA coffee shop located in Banyuwangi, with a Japanese concept, with Japanese style place and desserts. Ordered the brown sugar cinnamon coffee, and it tastes absolutely delicious. It has a rich and decadent brown sugar and cinnamon without overpowering the coffee flavour, and the coffee in it also tastes great. It also comes with a foam, which adds a nice creaminess to the drink. Their desserts are also splendid. The matcha cake is very light, and the cheesecake has a very light texture. The staff here are friendly and helpful in showing and explaining about the different menu options. The foods and drinks also came out relatively quickly. The place has a variety of indoors, semi-indoors, and outdoor seatings to choose from. Definitely worth coming back here again.
View on GoogleLoved the cafe and its japanese touch. I highly recommend the burned cheesecake and the strawberry matcha, they should put it on the menu!! Some of the cakes and the tiramisu had a fatty cream i didn’t really like but maybe that’s just a personal preference. It’s definitely worth a visit when you’re in banyuwangi
