I enjoy the dining experience here. The menu is focused on chicken or duck meat, prepared either fried, grilled or steamed with spices. All of them are worth to the value. The restaurant has a pleasant view, the ambience is nice, the service is prompt and servants are kind.

Betutu Tepi Sawah is a must-visit restaurant when traveling to De Djawatan or Pulau Merah. The flavors are rich and authentic, with the duck betutu's gravy being particularly outstanding. Their unique terasi (fermented shrimp paste) - the distinct purplish-brown condiment served alongside fresh chili - is a standout feature, adding a bold umami kick to the dishes. This special terasi sets them apart from other eateries. The picturesque setting among rice fields enhances the dining experience, with traditional thatched-roof pavilions overlooking lush paddy fields. While savoring the flavorful Balinese cuisine, guests can immerse themselves in the serene rural landscape, creating a truly memorable meal in a beautiful location.

Betutu Tepi Sawah truly excels in delivering the rich and authentic flavors of Balinese cuisine. The signature dish, Bebek Betutu, was a standout with its tender, well-seasoned duck. The variety of sambals and side dishes provided a delightful array of tastes and textures that highlighted the depth of Balinese culinary traditions. The restaurant's setting, surrounded by lush rice paddies, is a picturesque backdrop for a traditional meal. It's a serene and peaceful environment that adds to the overall dining experience. Considering the quality and authenticity of the food, the prices were reasonable. However, expanding the menu with more diverse options might make it an even better value. ps : Try Es Dawet
