Like a typical warkop (coffee stall), selling various drinks, food, and light snacks. But with varied, affordable prices. Just spend around 12k-18k and you can get food and a drink. Add a little more and you can get a snack. Drinks range from 3ribu-8ribu, food from 10ribu-15ribu, while snacks are 8ribu-12ribu. At these relatively cheap prices, you get food and snacks in generous portions. Drinks also come in big glasses that don't easily leak (meaning if you're thirsty, they're super refreshing). Everything on the menu here is delicious, especially their signature item, Toast. You can choose toasted bread with quite a variety of fillings, from savory to sweet. The bread slices are quite thick and wide. The butter is spread quite evenly too. They use salted butter, so if you eat it hot/warm right after toasting, it tastes savory with a slight sweetness from the bread's original flavor. The fillings in each toast won't disappoint. The Toast varieties with spread evenly applied inside the bread are enough to make us shake our heads, especially when eaten hot, it'll melt on your tongue. You can imagine how much there is. There's also savory Toast, filled with 1 sausage cut in two, or 2 pieces of ham placed evenly side by side, not stingy, right? They also use large, fresh lettuce leaves. The chili sauce and mayonnaise are drizzled on in equally generous amounts. Really good for filling your stomach; instead of eating instant noodles all the time, better switch to this menu item. Next, the bread is toasted golden brown. Not dried out or slightly burnt like that. So when eaten warm, the bread's texture will be crispy. But when cold, it won't be tough (from being too dry). Just right. Meanwhile, for anyone wanting a substantial, filling meal, there are Rice Bowl varieties, in the price range of 10ribu to 15ribu. You can get a trendy full meal without going all the way to Surabaya. For comparison, the Rice Bowl here also tastes more authentic, like the Rice Bowls we buy in big malls. The rice isn't cooked too mushy or too dry. Plus they use good rice grains, so even just the rice as the meal's base is already top-notch. The rice portion you get is 70% of the bowl's contents. For real, it's not far behind the portions of the hyped packaged rice meals in Telang. Moving onnn, if you want to know how all the variations of this menu taste, order the most complete version. Chicken Poppnya Beef Slice with Egg. From there you'll know? The chicken pop tastes like chicken (well of course, it's chicken), I mean it's not dominated by flour. No need to worry about it being too salty either, but the flavor still really hits. Coated in sauce that's a little spicy but won't burn your mouth. The Beef Slice is coated in teriyaki sauce. Mostly sweet in flavor. The meat is cooked medium rare. The slices aren't too long, but there are quite a lot. The egg is boiled, with a fully cooked yolk (not soft-boiled). There'll also be extra toppings, cucumber and lettuce. The cucumber is fresh and not bitter. The cuts are aesthetic too (damnn). Other facilities include quite a lot of power outlets and wifi. The wifi is fast. Maybe the café is on the small side, so at full capacity it fits just 15 people (I guess). There's a single long table that can only fit one laptop. If you bring books and so on, you can use the big table with 4 chairs. For seating, there are plastic chairs and wooden chairs with backrests. Oh yeah, whatever you order, you'll be able to watch it being made because it's an open kitchen. The ambience on offer is the street in front of the café. But if you need a quiet place to do assignments, this place is highly recommended.
View on GoogleThe toast bread is soft. The ricebowls are delicious and have lots of rice, especially the sambel korek one, soooo addictive. The right choice when you want a snack, buy toast; when you're hungry, buy a ricebowl; when you need to work late, buy coffee; when it's hot and you're heading home from campus, buy iced tea. Comfort food that's easy on the wallet for students who want something quick. The sellers are friendly too, sometimes you meet a funny one hahaha
View on Googlethe menu is simple but the taste is a winner
View on GoogleHonestly, the toast, whether plain or chocolate, is equally delicious when I order the chocolate crunchy filling. The service is alright, but the atmosphere, uhm... That's how it is (as a UTM student), a bit crowded, hot, and sometimes smelling of diesel exhaust and loud exhaust fumes.
