First time trying Mi Ongklok (a local noodle dish). I was a bit not used to the soup (kuah Mi Ongklok), but it's still delicious! I ordered the non-spicy one, but I should have ordered the spicy one to make it more flavorful. I was a bit surprised by the taste of the satay, it's very sweet!! Even I, a person from Jogja who often eats sweet dishes, found it too sweet 😂 But even so, the satay still tasted good! If you want to order, I suggest ordering the spicy Mi Ongklok or request the satay to be less sweet. Hehe As for the vibes of the place, I feel like I was in an old-fashioned eatery. You'll find out the "hometown vibes". The employees here are kind and friendly.

If you are tourist & have no plenty of time and wish to eat the authentic mie ongklok, you came to the right place. Lower your expectation for the place & service… “the boss” is real Boss… no smile, and didn’t help the customer if we need something… he just sat there in his desk with his loud video on his phone. Poor service… i feel bad for his employees

Yummy!! The sate is pretty sweet but yummy. Noodles were delicious!

Best place to have Mie Ongklok in Wonosobo. Beef satay is sweet, tender and delicious, never miss it. Always full of customers during meal time. Waiters and waitress are polite and helpful.
