Used to be one of my (and my family) favorite place to spend our holiday. Last time I was here in 2017 and I'm surprised that no significant improvement happened here. The only positive change I noticed was the front entry which now is much better with new installation. Masjid isn't well maintained, toilet too. The auditorium isn't opened publicly. All of this because of budget cut, maybe? I used to recommend my friend, colleague, and relative to visit this place back then. But with current condition, I would prefer them to go somewhere else.
View on GoogleOne of option to stop by along the Gunungkidul, Wonogiri and Pacitan that gives educative and historical information, however need this place need more signs particularly for the path to the caves.
View on GoogleThe largest Karst Museum in Indonesia, there are atleast 7 caves nearby you can visit and explore.
View on GoogleA well organized museum where people can learn about karsr, cave and stone. Not a bored museum, and kids will like this place.
View on GoogleVery well managed museum in a such remote village. Need more attention in promoting by the local government.
