free. one of the museums in slawii, you museum and knowledge lovers have to come here. Lots of history about schools, the origins of school uniforms, old school equipment, even elephant fossils and temples, you know, you also get merchandise from the museum, the downside is it's dirty and dusty but overall you still have to visit.

It felt wonderful to be able to visit Museum Sekolah Kabupaten Tegal. Here we can gain knowledge by seeing school equipment from the past, such as reliefs depicting school conditions through the ages, desks and chairs, blackboards, writing slates, slate pencils, practical equipment, and abacuses. A little about the abacus: it is a tool used for counting in the old days, made of a wooden frame and beads that can be slid back and forth. This place also holds fossils from the semedo site, brass bracelets, bronze bracelets, a gold-copper alloy necklace, kepeng coins, stone cups, Chinese bowls, Chinese statue heads, terracotta statues, and so on. This museum is very suitable for educational trips for schoolchildren so they can learn about the history of education in our beloved Republic of Indonesia.

This building, which houses many objects of historical value, is located near the Tegal Regency Regional Archives and Library office. It is poorly maintained and urgently needs attention from many parties to ensure its existence and continued function. Hopefully this building, which serves as a monument, will not be repurposed and can become one of the educational tourism icons in Tegal Regency.
