Great place to have dinner with family and friends. The place is nice. It has vintage decorations which give you feeling of staying in a Javanese house. The food is various and delicious.

We googled this place by accident as its the closest to our hotel and when we arrive, it was located in a semi alley , seems like an old house and the place is slightly dark with nicely decorated antiques, food was fairly traditional too, we tried they signature drinks and my god, were they delicious, never have i tried wedangan as rich , spicy , herbal, A bit hard to describe the taste as all flavor profiles are in that drink, it was so yummy that we came back the next day, and yes it is good for your health too especially if you are a bit under e weather..

Visit on July 11, 2024 Arrived on the premise at 11 PM, most of the foods are already sold out, tried the JKJ, uou can choose less sweet or separate sugar. Very fragrant and warm drinks. All the foods are delicious and suitable as accompanying snacks for hanging around with friends. Tried Apollo, glutinous rice with chocolate

My first ever wedangan/angkringan so I had no comparison, but I had a good time here. I ordered wedang jahe with less sugar (they have a specific word in Javanese that indicates less sugar, but I forgot what the word was). I also got to try their jeruk kencur jahe which was very tasty. Food style is prasmanan (choose and/or pick your own orders) and you pay for everything at the end of your stay. All the drinks were warm and tasty, and the atmosphere of spending a few hours at night in a wedangan is just unique. It feels like going to a pub that serves ginger-based hot drinks instead of alcohol.

Local style cafe loaded with antique stuff and ethnic interior. Cozy and cool with green surrounding outdoor. Its on the side of the road, but quiet traffic. Here you can drink various style of local drinks, and food. Fast serving and good food.
