Recently I had the pleasure of dining here and I must say, their gudeg is absolutely delicious. The flavors are rich and authentic, with just the right balance of sweetness and spices. It's a true delight for the taste buds. But it's not just the food that impressed me. The service provided by the waiter and waitress was okay. They were polite, attentive, and always ready to assist with a smile. Their warm and friendly demeanor added to the overall dining experience. The ambience of Gudeg Mbak Yus is another highlight. The restaurant has a cool and comfortable atmosphere, making it the perfect place to enjoy a leisurely meal. Whether you're dining alone or with friends and family, you'll feel relaxed and at ease in the cozy setting. Overall, I highly recommend Gudeg Mbak Yus in Solo. My 1st time came here. Would not recommend, the food is okay but the service is very slow here for a portion of nasi gudeg 👎🏿 it took about almost 30 min

Nice place for dinner. Assorted meal to opt for. One can pick from menu or choose directly from the seller desk. Comfort deco and tables arrangement. Reasonable price and good service. Usually clouded at peak hours dinner time. Do come early if not to be disappointed. Recommended!

I was bit surprised, I thought I would find and old lady sitting on small wooden chair sorounded by many dishes on top if short legged table, instead it was millenial style gudeg stall 😁 The food was bit pricey and the taste was suprisingly sweet - not that kind of sweet taste for gudeg, sadly - It must have come from flat tofu which unseperatable part of the dish. IDK, I thought gudeg - Solo style like this, I mean - should have savory taste and not sweet let alone too sweet. Conclusion : It isn’t my fav place, but worth to try at least once, who knows maybe your taste buds have different opinions than mine.

First time I tried gudeg with porridge here. They taste good and the portion was generous. Unlike gudeg in general which sometimes can be too sweet for me, but this one different. Salty, creamy from the coconut milk, slightly sweet for flavour balance, but not too powerful.
