Came here for an event. The location is strategic. They serve traditional Indonesian menu, the taste is average. The place is spacious, the interior design is good, unique and typical of Java ambience. Suitable for reserved when you wanna hold private gathering, meeting or event with friends and family

Nice ambience, decent food taste and reasonable prices, easily located within Solo's mainroads. Sidewalk parking. Maybe related to Andi Bento and Jokowi (update: its not)

Goela Klapa is a hidden gem nestled in the heart of Solo. Stepping into this fine establishment is like being transported to the enchanting world of traditional Javanese culture. The ambiance alone is worth the visit, with its intricate décor and warm lighting that create an inviting atmosphere perfect for a memorable dining experience. But it's not just the ambiance that makes Goela Klapa a must-visit destination—it's the incredible Indonesian cuisine that steals the show. From the moment you take your first bite of their signature Bakmie Goreng, you know you're in for a culinary journey unlike any other. The flavors are rich, the textures are divine, and every dish is a testament to the culinary expertise of the chefs. And let's not forget about their Nasi Goreng, a classic Indonesian favorite that's taken to new heights at Goela Klapa. Each mouthful bursts with the perfect balance of spices, leaving your taste buds dancing with delight. To complement the exquisite flavors of the cuisine, Goela Klapa offers an array of beverages, but none quite compare to their Maruk Jenar. This refreshing concoction combines the subtle sweetness of honey with the tangy zest of orange, all topped off with a hint of soda for that perfect fizz. It's the ideal companion to any meal, adding an extra layer of satisfaction to an already extraordinary dining experience. In conclusion, Goela Klapa is more than just a restaurant—it's a culinary oasis where tradition meets innovation, and every dish tells a story. Whether you're a connoisseur of Indonesian cuisine or simply looking for an unforgettable dining experience, Goela Klapa exceeds expectations on every level. So, do yourself a favor and indulge in the flavors of Indonesia at Goela Klapa—you won't regret it.

My main never came. my dining companions finished their food and I was still waiting. The servers acted as if it was my fault. I suspect it went to another table. I left without eating the main but spotted it in the bill ! Beware!
