I recently had a fantastic meal at Restoran Fai Kie in Solo. If you are looking for authentic, classic, non-halal Chinese food with generous family-style portions, this place is definitely worth a visit Nasi Goreng Babi (Pork Fried Rice): Absolutely delicious and packed with flavor. The portion is massive, generously loaded with lap chiong (Chinese sausage) Capcay Goreng Babi: A highly comforting dish with a thick, savory gravy, abundant fresh vegetables, and generous meat/meatball toppings. Ayam Rebus (Boiled Chicken): Very tender, chopped into easily manageable pieces, and steeped in a savory, rich broth. Sayur Asin Kuah (Pickled Mustard Soup) & Misua Kuah: Both of these soups were served in massive bowls. The broths were incredibly comforting, warm, and perfect for sharing with the table.

Chinese Restaurant Fai Kie is one of a few old chinese restaurants in Solo city. The restaurant is not so big but it is clean, except the floor was a little bit slippery. The food was good. We came here for the birthday of a friend. Good and quick service.
