Blue Bake House is one of those cafés that makes you want to stay a little longer 🥹☕🍰 They have a great selection of sandwiches and pastries, but of course… I came for the cakes 😭 The tiramisu was definitely my favorite. Creamy, not overly sweet, and honestly I’d happily order it again. The cookies were also really good! Sadly, the Hokkaido Cheese Tart was a bit underwhelming. I was expecting a stronger cheesy flavor, but it didn’t really “ngeju” for me. One thing I really love is the semi open kitchen, so you can actually watch the baking process while enjoying your food. Such a nice detail! The café itself isn’t that spacious, but every corner is utilized really well. The ambience feels cozy from the moment you walk in. It’s clean, cool, there are plenty of power outlets, and even the restroom is spotless. Both the front and side outdoor seating are also comfortable, especially if you visit at night. The only downside is the location. Since it’s on Jalan Gatot Subroto (one-way street), finding a car parking spot can be a little tricky, especially during busy hours. Overall, Blue Bake House is a great place to nongkrong, WFC, or simply enjoy some desserts because there’s no time limit. The cakes are reasonably priced, the atmosphere is super comfy, and I’d definitely come back for the tiramisu. 🤍🍰

I think this place truly deserves the hype on social media. Came here on Monday, it was quite busy and the queue was normally a bit long. They should have at least two cashiers to take notes of all the customers' orders. I ordered the choco hazelnut, the hokkaido cheesetart, and the original cookies. The choco hazelnut was awesome, the combination between the vanilla ice cream, the hazelnut, and the melting chocolate truly complement each other. The bread was also not hard to chew, yet not too soft or too fluffy. The original cookies should've been better, because the texture is too crispy? The cheesetart was excellent🫶🏼✨️ I know the outdoor space is for smoking area, but I think it should have been outside the building, not in the outdoor area between the two buildings, because tbh the smoke was quite annoying. Yet overall it was a good experience.

Service was quite slow, even though the restaurant wasn't really busy at the time. No designated waiting area for customers picking up takeaway orders. Ordered the tuna melts and corned beef chili oil sandwiches. Unfortunately, the filling was very sparse and concentrated only in the middle of the sandwich. Sourdough bread was also tough and chewy. (Chocolate) Salt bread was especially disappointing. It lacked the buttery, savory, and slightly salty flavor that defines a good salt bread. Inside was mostly hollow, no filling, and the texture was chewy. Overall, it was disappointing that the quality of the food and the overall experience did not justify the price.

The place is modern, aesthetically pleasing, and very cool. The service is friendly and prompt, but the waiting list system very bad. Even the look of the food, cakes and drinks are all appetizing and cute, even though the price is expensive, it is not comparable to the level of complexity of the menu and I really appreciate it. Some of the tastes are delicious, some are just so-so, but all of them are not disappointing with the experience you get. The toilets are limited but fragrant and clean.

I had a wonderful experience at Blue Bake House. The pastries tasted freshly baked, the coffee was excellent, and the presentation was beautiful. The café has a calm and cozy vibe, making it a perfect place to relax. Great service and reasonable prices. Can’t wait to visit again!
