The place was quite busy and felt a bit chaotic during my visit. It was a little confusing for first-time customers because the ordering line and food pickup flow were not very clear. There was also no price list for the skewers, so I felt a bit hesitant about taking them since I wasn’t sure about the cost. On the positive side, the susu rempah and wedang rempah were really good. They were warm, comforting, and the portions were generous enough to be shared by two people. I also enjoyed the bakmi kuah—the flavor was light, simple, and very comforting to eat. The only downside was the inconsistency in portion sizes. My friend received a bowl with very little noodles and mostly broth, while my portion looked more normal. Hopefully the serving portions can be made more consistent in the future because the taste itself was enjoyable.
View on GoogleGood atmosphere, too pricey the food or the drinks. Taste just usual, good but not bad. Overall the atmosphere very quiet, a good place for meetings with friends.
View on GoogleThis place is so vibey, has a lot of atmosphere that brings the warmth and comfy feelings. The food has variaties and quite good, and I like their appollo as well. The drinks are okay-ish. The service is top notch, there’s this one lady who knows her way around the menu and the place, wonderful service!
View on GoogleOne of the famous angkringan in Solo, with a touch of traditional Javanese vibes and decorations on both the first and second floors. The later it gets, the merrier this place becomes. 😄 Angkringan Omah Semar serves various Indonesian foods, from side dishes (fried foods) that can be chosen directly from their display, to main dishes, and definitely their wedang, which is a must-try for most people. It was so crowded when we came here on a weekday night for dinner. Luckily, we got seated before it got more crowded. I tried their Mie Godog, Sosis Solo, Ati Ampela, and Wedang that could warm our body. My favorite is their sweet sosis solo filled with minced chicken.
View on GoogleThis is the original spot with old school ‘angkringan style’ food . The Good tasted Food price is really cheap compare to the restaurant. A romantic old Javanese style small resto with a lot of windows and great smell of old ‘Jati’ woods. My favourite dish in order : - rice with chilled fried squid 🦑 - rice with small ‘teri’ fish - alot of fried ‘mendoan’ , ‘bakwan jagung’ and tofu.
