I spent my childhood here, long live pak brengos

My visit to Warung Makan Rawon Pak Brengos was quite memorable despite a few notes. I came around 12:00 PM, but unfortunately most of the menu was sold out. The remaining available menu was only Rawon and Nasi Rames. The Rawon is served with a rich broth, typical of strong rawon spices. The standard fillings are only rice and offal, and if you want to add beef slices, customers must do an add-on. It still tastes delicious, but it would be more satisfying if the meat slices were included in the main portion. Nasi Rames is very simple—containing rice, fried noodles, and dry tempeh. Suitable for those who want a light meal, but feels a bit minimalist compared to typical nasi rames expectations. Drinks are quite varied, and side dishes such as tempe garit, beef empal, and crackers are available, which add flavor variety to the dining table. Conclusion: This warung is suitable for rawon lovers who want to taste authentic Javanese broth. However, it is recommended to come early to get a more complete menu selection. The warung atmosphere is simple and clean, the service is quite friendly. Suitable for a quick lunch with traditional flavors.

If you want to eat good rawon in Rembang, this is the place. It tastes good and is one of the recommended ones. There is also fresh and spicy asem asem. But for the soto, I think it's not so good. Side dishes are quite complete, there is crispy fried tempeh, offal like tripe and lung, quail eggs, perkedel, and others. This warung is quite legendary and you could say a must-visit in Rembang. The parking area is a bit limited, but there is a parking attendant who helps.

The place is clean, all the food is delicious, the coffee is great, cheap price highly recommended for those looking for breakfast, too bad if not promoted on social media, because maybe not many people know for out-of-town people like me, knew it from google maps, extraordinary eatery the best
