The sate and gule kambing here are absolutely delicious! The location is a bit of a trek from the city, but the food is fantastic and the price is super reasonable. Just a heads up, there’s limited parking space.

This might be the best Sate Winong in town. Located a bit far from the town, but worth the time and distance. Price for a person is around 40k, sate only 31k-ish. Taste great, portion is huge, but for me a bit too sweet.

Sorry to say, but I think this is the best sate in Winong, Purworejo. The combination of local made soy sauce and chopped lime leaves topping is so good and the overall taste is not disappointing at all. All of it comes with a very affordable price, of course. The place is not so far away from downtown of Purworejo or Kutoarjo. Parking lot is enough for several cars and motorcycles. Recommended.

A very well known place to eat sate kambing (indonesian mutton barbeque). The other dish option is gulai kambing (indonesia mutton curry)
