Good view, nice air, sweet escape. The ticket quite cheap to enter the volcano museum, but not inclode for some atraction.

Just visited here a couple of days ago. I love the place even though the museum isn't large or doesn't have a lot of information it's already okay. That being said, it still needs improvement more especially when it comes to the maintenance. Restrooms' cleanliness were A-OK ish, could be better. It's better to come here when the weather is sunny & clear so if you aren't lucky (as in my personal case) to come here during rainy season with predominantly cloudy weather the experience won't be as spectacular. Anyways, if you want to have a more convenient way to visit mount Merapi you can rent Jeeps that start the journey from this place.

We couldn't quite see the peaks of Merapi or Merbabu because of cloud, but still enjoyed some great views. The land use on the slopes is really interesting - of course farming due to fertile soils, but I was surprised by how many settlements there are and how high up they are. The restaurant served basic but nice food. The volcano movie is really old and needs a refresh.

Nice place to stop by rest after riding or driving, clean toilet and musolah. Located just next to the roadside, easy access. With a ticket price of Rp 10,000 it's definitely worth it because it comes with a spectacular view of the Merapi Mountain and include a pass through a museum about the history of the mountain.
