From the moment we hit its front, it's a magnet for us. A place owned by a like minded people is not just a spot, it's a soothing space. No single complain, no single "if only". Maura loves everything she saw; from the clean green grass--her favorite gogoleran venue-- to their Tintin and poem book collection! Definitely will came again!

A comfort place for a book reader and quiet seeker. Cozy , natural , for its location is in the urban area , still has many trees , green area , the wind blow slowly and refreshing. The place is neat and proper to enjoy , not big but its enough. Recomended

A cool spot for book lovers. While enjoying the nature of the countryside with a serene, peaceful atmosphere by enjoying coffee, chocolate, tea, etc. There is a large yard for children to play.

Love this place. If you live or happen to be around Magelang or Jogja and love to read, please visit this place. Very nice ambiance to read. They have diverse theme of book. There’s also little coffee shop which sell decent single origin from Magelang area.

Our visit to Melek Huruf for the Pekan Buku Magelang event was a delightful experience. This unique community center, library, coffee shop, and home of the humble and approachable couple Cristian and Nina, offers a welcoming and enriching atmosphere. Melek Huruf is an excellent spot to sip coffee, read books, or chat with friends for hours. The cozy interior is perfect for solitary reading, while the outside grass field is a great play area for children—our daughter had a fantastic time. One thing to note is that parking can be a bit tricky since you have to park in front of a neighbor's house. It's best to ask for permission before parking to ensure a smooth visit. We were so impressed with Melek Huruf that we're planning to visit again, and perhaps even try a staycation, as they offer rooms for rent. This place is a hidden gem in Magelang, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking for a peaceful and friendly environment.
