IBC restaurant or so called Ikan Bakar Cianjur is a Sundanese restaurant, they cook with fresh ingredients and unique spices you will definitely satisfy your taste bud. IBC is one of my favourites since I was kid. I often visited this place with my late Dad and whole family, he loves it so much. He often brought his foreigner friends to enjoy meals in IBC, its located just across the Christian church built during Dutch colonial in old city of Semarang. Tonight I am ordering 2 kind of fish.. Tilapia Pesmol (their signature Nila pesmol) and also Carp fish served with soy sauce and leeks (Gurami siram saus) also Nasi Liwet (flavoured rice, served in a pot), Stir fty pumpkin leaves (tumis pucuk labu), Fried tofu (served with sweet chili soy sauce) and dont forget to order Es Cianjur (it has coconut, avocado, jelly and glutinous black rice with milk, and shaved ice on it) so yummy and refreshing.

Such a heritage of a decor this restaurant has, mirrors the surroundings of Kota Lama which is very befitting. Staffs here were all very polite, well trained indeed. Food here is as good as the other branch, whom I was informed has no affiliation to this one. Surprised at how similar of a taste it is. In fact I believe it is a tad better👌🏻 Will definitely return for more, until then do keep up the good work, guys👍🏻

One of the best place in semarang old Town if you want to eat something good and feel the old Town ambiance The server instantly bring me to an empty table but it's a bit of a shame that they let me choose where to sit (which is good if you are into that), the place was nice as the interior was kept as original and the food is delicious even though I feel like it's more worth it to buy a large portion to share than to buy it for yourself.

their pesmol nila or gurame is the best, liwet rice also delicious. Very recommended when u are in the old city part of semarang.

This restaurant is on heritage’s building, interior design supporting the building and restaurant, the room was cold and many table and chairs available. F&B: All their menu was really delicious but my favorite is gurame pesmol and gurame tim, also es shanghai Service: their service was so nice fast and responsive, all their staff so humble welcoming us treat us. Facilities : the parking area is spacious the toilet is clean and they make sure the soap and tissue was fulfilled.
