A highlight for my trip to semarang. Ordered the crispy pork with sambal matah, paikut sayur asin, and their porkbelly skewers. Everything is great! The paikut is seasoned just right that its not too salty, the crispy pork was very delicious and the porkbelly is so soft, very rich in flavor, and honestly very unique. Would come back to semarang just to go back here!
View on GoogleIt’s fully packed as soon as they open. All the dishes taste yummy with reasonable price. Our family enjoyed a lot. Pork bone soup, crispy pork and pork satay are my favourite. Downstairs there are also some takeaway food for sale, Bak Zang (sticky rice wrapped in bamboo leaves) and Bakpao are super delicious. It’s a must visit restaurant if you come to Semarang.
View on GoogleOne word for this restaurant: outstanding. It was super crowded when I came, but the waiting time was surprisingly fast. The waiter and the owner were both very friendly. Prices? Wow — super affordable and totally worth the money. (FYI, I’m not from Semarang, so I’m not sure if it’s always this busy on regular days.) I ordered the crispy samcan — good portion, crunchy, salty, chewy, and of course… delicious! The pork satay was insanely cheap, very tender, and each skewer was generously sized. Highly recommended for tourists visiting Semarang. Definitely a must-try!
View on GoogleI came here after ask my friend about pork restaurant. Located near Lawang Sewu areas, its one way road and you need to go all around before reach the destination. But the food is good, I personally recommended the Bakut soup. Very tasty and the meat also tender. I eat Nasi Campur and this is on of the best, unfortunately they didn't have Nasi Hainam to put in the Nasi Campur. They use normal rice, but it's okay, They put almost 9 kinds of pork all around the plate. You think the portion was small, but after a while you find it, this is big 😜 Will come again later to buy the Pork bun.
View on GoogleOne of my kind of comfort food. Babi kecap is a must, dont skip. Sate babi is also must! Try Teh Kundur. Not too sweet and refreshing enough.
