This shop offers a variety of locally produced coffees. The staff have a lot of knowledge and understanding of coffee. The owner, whom I met at the shop, has been long times in the coffee business since his father's time. It was a delightful conversation with him about coffee and his business. We even compared our impressions during cupping tests that he provided. The staff member who dripped the coffee was bright and cheerful. I nicknamed him "Happy Man". He shared his professional philosophy: coffee tastes better when brewed with a happy mind. He even kindly took me to my hotel on a bike, even in the rain. It became really good memory of my trip. I will definitely visit again next time I'm in Semarang. Thank you very much.

Nestled peacefully we can find a nice roastery in town which not only selling coffee beans, but also the coffee. Owned by a local, we can sip the coffee in the garden. The shop is indoor but the cafe is outdoor. This is by my definition, a cool local coffee shop and I highly recommend for tourist who visit this city. It represents the authenticity and we can feel the localness. I bought local coffee beans and would enjoy it at home.

Very unique coffee shop, in a good way. If you’re a coffee lover you’ll gonna love this place. They only have v60 here. So you choose your beans - they have a lot of variants and the barista will help you choose based on your liking, then they serve you the coffee (ice or hot). The place is homey, like in the back of someone house. Overall it is recommended to try this coffee shop.

Dharma Roastery is a coffee shop and museum dating back to 1925, it offers many different coffee beans and is a legend among coffee makers since it is the first electrical powered coffee factory in Indonesia. it has a museum in the back that you have to pay 35rb per person to get a free coffee pack and also a guide explaining the history behind the machinery and factory. Overall it has amazing coffee and I recommend also visiting the museum if you’re interested in the first electric coffee factory in Indonesia.

Oldest coffee Roastery in Semarang, lots of beans varieties that you can choose, the waitress was very polite and nice when you're confused about which beans that will suite you're taste. There are coffee museum too and operates in certain time every day. Must visit if you're in Semarang.
