Rumah Makan Pak No is definitely the spot if you’re craving iwak manuk (kuntul, belibis, puyuh, or bebek). The fried bird tastes the best while still hot — crispy outside, juicy inside, and the seasoning really seeps all the way through. Super flavorful! Each portion comes with a bowl of rice big enough to share, plus extra lalapan and sambal that perfectly complete the meal. The sambal especially makes everything even more addictive. The place itself is simple, no AC, so be ready to get a bit sweaty if you come during lunch hour. But honestly, the food more than makes up for it. A true hidden gem for fried bird lovers!

It’s quite difficult nowadays to find lapwings to eat, but egrets are still available here. They taste delicious when fried to a tender texture, especially with the spicy sambal.

I tried one of the menus (BELIBIS/ WHISTLING DUCK) The taste is quite interesting and my favorite is the SAMBAL whicsnis served super spicy.. If you are in around Semarang, you should try this one.. #KANGMAS
