Worthy of a visit. The temples are -very- Chinese and the compound is pretty touristy. Bit weird how the first 45k ticket grants you access to the compound but in order to visit the main temple i needed to pay another 20k at a second gate. Worth though, i found the place beautiful

Worth coming if you are already in Semarang. Spare 1.5h. Pretty hot during the day. Bring hats/ umbrella/ water. If you bring offering stick, money etc to pray (not sightseeing) they wouldn't change you entrance fee.

Large historical and religious complex in Semarang. It was built to honor Admiral Zheng He, Chinese Muslim explorer, and now serves as a multi-faith worship site blending Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and local Javanese history. Good for architectural photography, historical context, and a casual walk.

Stunning temple complex with a beautiful blend of Chinese and Javanese styles. It's incredibly spacious, well-maintained, and very Instagrammable. Giving quite "China" vibes if you get right angle and right time. Interesting place to visit definetely! Remember that while it is a tourist site, parts of the temples are active places of worshi, so please maintain politeness and cleanliness. Ticket Price is 25k IDR per person and you'll get charge more if you want to enter some área. pro tip- bring hat, portable fan or come when the sun isnt hitting straight to your skins. Theres food, snacks and ice drink stalls too

Beautiful place, wonderful people. Security and temple staff are very kind and helpful when my Mom accidentally dropped her belongings behind.
