Canteen next to the rectorate building of Universitas Negeri Semarang. Cool concept and atmosphere, futuristic minimalist building, lots of trees inside and around. There are several kinds of food from traditional stalls to modern. Ample parking available.

For a rectorate canteen level, I think the atmosphere is lacking.. the chairs are packed together. The self-service is half-hearted hehe.. there is no tray, but don't worry, the waitresses are ready to deliver if we ask to have the food or drinks delivered. It's cheap though.. rames rice with stir-fried papaya leaves, fried tofu in chili paste, fried potatoes in chili paste, cassava leaf lodeh rice, salted fish, and balado eggs plus two iced oranges for exactly 30 thousand. The taste is all good.. the stir-fried papaya leaves and shrimp paste chili are a bit sweet, but still acceptable..

Cool and nice canteen concept, dominated by glass with several trees in the middle of the canteen, very conservationist indeed. haha There is also a special seating area for customers (2nd floor) equipped with an enclosed air-conditioned room. This place is also good for taking instagramable photos. haha Unfortunately, not long after opening it met the pandemic, auto closed and abandoned. heheu

Went to UNNES because my child wanted to take the state university entrance exam there. Stopped by the canteen with a campus atmosphere. Reminded me of college days ☺ The place is nice, 2 floors, upstairs with sitting on the floor (lesehan). The food is delicious and the service is great, friendly. Want to come here again later...

Eating chicken soto here is very delicious. The price is very pocket-friendly for students.
