This museum is located on floors 2 and 3 of the masjid agung jawa tengah tower, so you can visit it while entering the mosque tower. There are many collections related to Islamic history, such as Qur'an manuscripts, inscriptions, clothing, musical instruments, and so on. Some collections are replicas because the originals are in other museums, but even though they're replicas they look similar to the originals. The museum's atmosphere is calm, more on the deserted side, so if possible don't visit alone. The rooms are also equipped with air conditioning, making them very cool and comfortable

Seems like many people don't know about this museum yet. it's inside the masjid agung jawa tengah tower building on floors 2 and 3, admission is 10 k. the museum is good, covering the development of Islam in Central Java quite comprehensively. you can see some relics from the old days too. it's nice, and it's currently being renovated, hopefully it gets even better. please visit😉👍

the museum is very small and simple, but the beauty at the top of the tower makes up for it. admission is 10.000/person and includes the museum and going up to the top of the tower.

A very interesting experience, seeing the history of the development of Islam in the archipelago, especially in Central Java. The religious scholars and kyai spread Islam in Central Java through various educational methods. This can be seen in the works they left behind, from Islamic boarding schools, written works (books), handwritten Qur'ans, and mosques. You can find all of these when visiting this place.

Buy admission tickets on the first floor; from the top floor you can overlook the whole Semarang city area.
