Its been so long since I visit this establishment and I can say, whew, it doesnt change a lot, and I mean it in the best way possible 😎 I always thought you can only expect two in the holy triangle of eatery quality indicator : affordable price, good place, or delicious food in good portion, but I always say, Mr K ticks all the box. Ever since years ago this specific eatery offers delicious food in sizeable portion, with relatively cheap price compared with other similar cafes or eatery, and the place is *chefs kiss* I dare say the best in all Semarang. Aand, it got beer 😎 you can bring your family, dates, or group of friends here, it's suitable for all occassion. It's even elderly and wheelchair friendly if you dont need to go to the toilet & only stay in non-smoking area. The menu had changed from years ago, now it doesnt have wider range of food selection as before, but they keep the quality high. I bought beef bacon rice & spaggheti carbonara. For about IDR 30-40k, the plate was loaded and they didn't skimp on the protein. The best part of my dish was the crispy spinach (or kailan? Pls enlighten me lol), it was super light with umami goodness, and gives you this sense of health like, "Look mom, I've eaten my vegetable today!" 😂 the beef bacon was salty and meaty, plus the sambal matah is so good. Not too overpowering but gaves that citrusy zing of freshness to bring your rice meal up a notch. The spaggheti was al dente, cheesy, creamy, and the portion is just enough to enjoy it. I got a glass of watermelon juice too, the kind where they blend the fruit with condensed milk, and while its not that refreshing (as in, compared to iced tea or mojito), but you could never go wrong with mikly watermelon lol. The place itself is still super pretty, cozy, and comfy. If you come in the afternoon, go for the smoking area table since its a open plan so while the sun is grilling and roasting outside, you can enjoy your breezy afternoon companied with a cold one. Non-smoking area is a good choice at night since it has this beautiful dried tree with firefly lights(?). The seatings are comfy to sit on and doesnt feel intimidating (I hate when place that serves beer and alcohol has this...intimidating aura). Super pretty, make sure you dress up before you cam to this place so you can take a lot of pretty photos. The staffs are super kind and helpful and they always smiles when they help you with anything. They're also super responsive, I dont even need to call to them and they already realized I needed something. I hope this place exists forever

A very spacious place to hangout, new perspectives of photographs. Had very great moments and chat times with my brothers n sisters. We quite had so much fun, and foods r great. The prices are quite reasonable. A very recommended dining restaurant with new great views. Overall, you have to try this place :))

It was a great experience even if you're just having lunch at Mr. K Gombel Cafe Ordered Triple Cheese Chicken and the seasoning was good, even though it tasted more like a salted egg chicken dish. View you get is citylight and cityscape which was magnificent also. Big thanks to the waiters for giving us the best services 👍
