Coming down from Gubug Cinta on the slopes of Merapi, I wanted to find the winding roads in the Merapi area towards Solo that don't go through Boyolali, since I'm somewhat familiar, I tried following the Merapi sand trucks without Google Maps, it turned out many of them were going to the base camp/sand quarry, so we just laughed at ourselves. Finally stopped at a small, very neat prayer room (mushola) to pray because the adhan had already sounded. After praying, not wanting to wander the mountain slopes anymore, I turned on maps... then found the Klaten toll ramp, headed to the gate guided by google maps, on the way while waiting for the green light, I saw this small resto, I was intrigued because I saw a YouTube post about this Laos marinated chicken. Yes, it looks very delicious, but it's not this resto's product, but it's okay because the resto is small, clean and I was hungry, I immediately signaled left and parked in front of the resto. We ordered a complete Laos chicken Ingkung for 130k IDR, plus 2 rice and a glass of iced tea. Because there were many take-away orders, we waited a bit long, maybe around 15 mins When it arrived, we immediately scrambled to try it... Woaalllaaaa the marinade is great and absorbed, the laos flavor is there, the frying is just right!!!! The sambal is OK 1 male chicken Ingkung turned out to be too large for the two of us who are now entering old age, so the rest was wrapped up Satisfied I recommend this small, clean resto and its delicious laos chicken

the chicken is savory and permeates to the inside... the ingkung is large and high quality, the meat is juicy, soft and not tough at all... the galangal is savory and the sambal is great.. spicy but delicious... basically the best ayam laos in Klaten. sometimes there is also abon ayam. which is savory and sweet...
