It has potentials to be upgrade with better facilities. Not only that, the facilties should be maintained properly and also it should has better display on trains and locomotives. It's a pieces of history in Indonesia. It should looks good. Learn from other countries abroad on how they take care their histories and museums. I gave 5 stars because of the sense on being brought back to those early years as if I were lived in those era. Great for our next generation education. If, maintained properly.

The largest railway museum in Indonesia and still serves heritage tourist trains from Ambarawa to Tuntang, unfortunately the one to Bedono is not active because the cog rails were damaged by human activity.

Good place for education about earlier trains in Indonesia, this museum displaying several steam locomotive, diesel, carriage wagon, turn table, gear wheel, and several items use in past Also we can take rides in a diesel locomotive, steam locomotive (reservation book by early bird) Unfortunately there are no guides in this museum that make visitors unorganized while waiting for the train, even though big gaps windows time for it to utilize for explaining each things in the museum Guides only available while we are on train prior to departure to another station, There are lots of things that can be explain actually while on trains, and on the other station, about the traditional dances until hook up the locomotive in other direction And also there's no photographer in museum, cause not everyone able to take good pictures, maybe later in futures can be taken into consideration for guides and photographer
