The Masjid Agung Demak museum is located beside Masjid Agung Demak. Inside the museum there are pillars and various historical relics of wali songo. To enter the mosque you can make a voluntary donation of any amount, without pressure. The museum area is clean and well maintained.

Museum Masjid Agung Demak is a fun place to visit! Here, you can see various historical objects that reflect the richness of Islamic culture. The atmosphere inside the museum is calm and comfortable, making you want to stay. The architecture is also cool and full of detail, so it's great for taking photos. Sunday, 6 November 2022 My first sightseeing trip to Demak. I was unlucky because it was raining heavily and I arrived at 16.30, so the Museum was already closed & I couldn't go here. I only just found out that you have to take an Andong to the mosque, costing 45 thousand for 5 adults. That's only a drop-off, no pickup. On the way back to the bus parking lot there were many motorcycle taxi drivers (not bentor) who very, very FORCEFULLY pressured tourists to ride their motorcycles, 1 motorcycle cost 15 thousand & the man REALLY INSISTED it could take 2 people. Well, rather than cause a scene in public we gave in, the man rode the motorcycle REALLY FAST, I had already told him to go slowly. At first he slowed down, then SPED again with the roads wet & slippery after the rain. This was very dangerous, especially since we passengers weren't given extra helmets & there were 3 people on 1 motorcycle too. At first we only wanted to walk from the mosque to the parking lot, but then we were pressured. For those coming here I suggest taking a bentor or Andong, even if it's slow, what matters is arriving safely. Also choose someone FRIENDLY.
