The first outlet of the popular Mbah Mangoen Sumarto Fried Duck food chain at Jl. Raya Solo-Yogyakarta at the border between Boyolali and Sukoharjo regencies in Central Java Province. We made a stop here to take away a whole fried duck and a spice local fried chicken. All-you-can-eat rice and chilli sauces. Cool dining joglo building next to a rice field with high chairs. Good free WiFi. Spacious parking lots for motorbikes, cars and buses. A clean restroom with a squat toilet in the joglo. A clean musholla having a restroom with a Western sitting toilet. Fast and friendly service. Minus: the fresh cabbage wasn't soft.

Firstly, the location is very easily accessible as it is by the main road between Solo and Jogja. There is a rice field view next to the restaurant, ample parking, and suitable seating inside. The menu offers a variety of dishes, and you can help yourself to unlimited rice and sambal. The taste is quite delicious

Reasonable prices for a classic duck and chicken restaurant. Ordered duck and coffee for roadtrip fuel. Condiments and extra seasonings are available self-service. Open seating area overlooking some rice paddies. Long tables available to accommodate large groups and families.
