I visited Burger Bangor in Purwokerto for the first time after hearing some recommendations, but honestly, I left quite disappointed. The place itself is small but open and airy, with plenty of menu options displayed. I ordered the Burger Boom Bag (2 chicken burgers, 2 beef burgers, and 2 chicken hotdog-style sausages) for 120,500 IDR. The biggest letdown was the portion and presentation. The burgers were much smaller than expected and looked nothing like the photos. The taste was just average—edible but very plain, with no real depth of flavor. The sausages felt more like a filler than an actual highlight. Overall, it came across as a typical fast-food outlet, nothing that stands out or makes you want to come back. For the price, I honestly expected better quality and flavor. If you just need a quick bite, it’s fine, but if you’re searching for a good burger in Purwokerto, I strongly recommend skipping this and going to Alfredo’s Kitchen instead. Yes, it’s pricier, but the taste and quality are on a completely different level.
