Stopped by for lunch during a business trip a while ago. The side dishes are self-serve, and they provide free sambal, which was a nice bonus. The prices are still affordable, and the food was good overall. The only downside was that the dining area felt a bit warm, but other than that, it was a good place to eat.

This is an iconic, long-standing Sundanese restaurant from Sukabumi. The food is exceptional: the Gurame Goreng (fried carp) is excellent, the dendeng (dried seasoned beef) is phenomenal, and the tripe (babat) is simply the best. They also offer a wide and delicious selection of sambel (chili sauces).

I like it. The food is tasty and they serve various kind of sambal. During pandemic the place is not crowded so you can keep your distance with others. They also have a parking lot, toilet and mosque.

Very unorganized, not clear on the flow how to grab the food either from left or right line ? (by the way, this restaurant is a canteen style). The Sambals not spicey, only tomatoes inside. Nothing special.

Various options for Sundanese cuisine, including pepes and lalapan (raw vegetables). Except the vegetables, highly recommend to ask for reheating the meals. Mendoan will always be favorite.
