Must visit! Everything was satisfying, tasty food and beverages, nice atmosphere.
View on GoogleA highly popular, old-school coffee shop with a wonderful vintage charm! The place gets incredibly packed, and we were quite lucky to secure a table during our visit. The Food & Service: Be prepared for a significant wait when it comes to the food, as the kitchen preparation takes a very long time. The coffee service is also a bit slow, though not quite as long as the food. However, once the dishes arrive, they deliver a deeply comforting, nostalgic flavor profile that makes the wait feel worthwhile. The Coffee: They serve classic, rich black coffee here. It is a straightforward, traditional brew rather than the trendy, modern coffee styles you find nowadays, which is honestly the safest and most reliable choice for a true coffee lover. Tips for Visitors: I highly recommend arriving early in the morning. Coming here early ensures you can secure a seat easily and drastically reduces the waiting time for both your snacks and coffee. Verdict: A lovely spot to experience an authentic, nostalgic coffee break. Just make sure to time your visit right to avoid the peak crowds!
View on GoogleI visited Kedai Kopi Ncek Joe Tie 1953 on a weekend, and honestly, it was really crowded. There were no available seats or tables when I arrived, which made it a bit uncomfortable to stay long. I can imagine that this place would feel very nice, cozy, and aesthetic if there were fewer people around, because the interior itself looks well-designed and pleasant. The staff were very kind and friendly, which I truly appreciated despite the busy situation. Service was still polite and welcoming, so thumbs up for that. For me personally, this café is not suitable for working or tasks that require deep focus, mainly because of the crowd and noise level during peak hours. It’s more of a place to hang out or try out popular coffee rather than a quiet work spot. The location is great—right in the downtown area and easily accessible by public transportation. If you come by car or motorbike, you can still park nearby along the roadside or sidewalk. I tried their best seller, which was quite good. However, the fruity coffee was too sweet for my taste, even though the staff mentioned the sweetness came naturally from the fruits. I didn’t get to try other menu items because the place was still very hyped and packed. Overall, nice place, but timing really matters here.
View on GoogleLegendary coffee shop in Sukabumi, Instagramable spot. Affordable price, small place. Visit in the morning It’s crowded, with people lining up for a seat. However The atmosphere is even better at night. Don't miss out
View on GoogleIt’s my first time here, and honestly I didn’t expect much at first. I was worried it might be one of those overly crowded, viral cafés that end up being disappointing. But wow—I was completely wrong. The moment I walked in, it felt less like a café and more like visiting a place full of friends. Despite how busy it was, the staff stayed incredibly friendly and welcoming. I can only imagine how chaotic and exhausting it must get, but they handled everything so well. Food-wise, I did get to try some snacks like poffertjes, but I haven’t had the chance to try their main dishes yet. As for the drinks—I ordered them twice! I started with their signature coffee, but finished it so quickly that I had to order another one. Then I tried the Yuenyang, and that one became my favorite. I really like how it has a subtle jasmine aftertaste that makes it feel extra refreshing. If there’s one thing I’d suggest, it’s maybe expanding or opening another branch to accommodate more people. I also hope they can improve the room temperature a bit, as it tends to get warmer when the doors are opened—especially with the current weather. Overall, this place definitely deserves the hype 👍
