Traditional dish in Cirebon using rice cake, cassava leaves, sprouts, and crackers, poured with thick vegetable broth made from dage (Sundanese fermentation process), which is made from fermented soybeans -- oncom, mixed with grated coconut. Soup tastes fresh and vegetal from the cassava and sprouts. This is unique and hard to find these days as it doesn't suit younger generations' palate. Price was very cheap at IDR 12K per plate. Definitely try for the novelty.

A bit late review but we feel it's a pity not to review it. Docang is a new breakfast menu for us who are visiting Cirebon for the first time. At first, we were hesitant whether we would like this typical Cirebon food, but after the first bite with the light yet very flavorful broth. The savory from the coconut and the spicy from the chili paste combined in a fresh broth which to be honest until now we are not sure what it's made of. Served with a simple warm bakwan, white crackers, and savory sticky rice served on the table. We kind of understand why this food is so missed by wanderers from Cirebon. Docang Ibu Kapsah is located in the courtyard of a restaurant that is not yet open so the parking lot is quite spacious. The tables are also sufficient. The vibe is very "morning breakfast". Although late we still enjoyed our visit here. We highly recommend trying it if you are in Cirebon.

Rumored to be a legendary docang stall. Docang breakfast is super delicious even though this is my first time trying this Cirebon culinary dish. Very crowded during the weekend. The location is easy to find so don't worry about getting lost. The taste is like lontong sayur but with different condiments, there is grated coconut, fresh bean sprouts and delicious broth, with additional fried snacks and crackers..:) #umkmbangkit

Must come here for morning breakfast! You haven't been to Cirebon if you haven't been here. Docang is healthy, nutritious, affordable food. Friendly service, clean place, strategic location near Siliwangi station. The hot tea is delicious and fragrant, not cheap stuff. Every time I go to Cirebon I always make time to come here. Open every day except Monday off. There are delicious, tender bakwan fried snacks for just about 1k. I tried 1/2 portion of docang and 4 fried snacks for only 13k, so grateful that in the middle of Cirebon city there is still healthy, cheap and blessed food ❤️🤗🙏
